Read your blogs for this week and each one resonated in my soul. Your art in the World Market Center is magnificent. MJ gave me your brochure on Wednesday, I glanced through and fell in love with Siesta de Domingo. I have a daughter and son who are now adults. It brought back the memories of when it was just us three. I've been married for 21 years now and have a stepson I love dearly and for a couple of seconds there was a feeling of betrayal and guilt for cherishing that moment in time with just my two babies. What was so amazing was those feelings didn't last, there was the warmth that I remembered. Thank you for taking me there and remembering what was.

PS The man looking at your art, maybe he was looking at the imperfections of his own life and reflected it on to your canvas.
Iris, Thank you for sharing your story about cherishing that moment about you and your two kids. Those moments and memories somehow never fade in their ability to leave a burning sensation in your bosom. When that happens it's confirmation that there is no need for guilt. It takes my breath away.
And, yes, your comment about the man and my art could very well be just that.
